While I doubt it will filter down to our Cherokees anytime soon, it is refreshing to see a major avionics supplier embrace a network connectivity system. The 'always on' internet connection concerns me a bit, seems like a boon for hackers of the future (pay me $$$$ bitcoin or your airliner crashes into the sea), but if security is a first order priority, it would be a big step up in function and ease of use.
