So I in my annual turned out I had to change the alternator due to the holes for the bracket became too wide and could not tighten it. We ran an engine test today to check for leaks and stuff and I noticed the Amp meter is at 40-50 in idle and when I accelerate the engine it hits 60 and trips. I have to reset the alternator switch but again it trips. My previous alternator used to hang out at around 12 amps and I could see the needle bouncing around the 12amp due to the beacon being on. Any Ideas?
