Mode S Transponder and Autopilot

Looking for Mode S transponder and autopilot for Piper Archer II.

Lots of options out there.

Why do you want a Mode S transponder? Today, Mode C will let you fly anywhere (in the US) you want to go. In 2020, you'll need ADS-B out, and options for that are starting to appear, but plain Mode S won't satisfy that. (In other words, you can pay for Mode S, but you're not getting any added value from it.)

Century and STEC both have autopilot systems that are STC'd for Piper PA28s. They are going to be expensive, both for the parts and for the installation work. You'll want to talk to an avionics shop sooner rather than later to get an idea of pricing.
