This is a neat idea, a little wind turbine that fits into a Cessna's air vent and produces enough power to charge a mobile device (a bit like the emergency dynamo/turbine in an airliner's nose):

I'd see it mainly as an emergency device for after an electrical failure, but it could also be useful in aircraft without an electrical system, like the J3 Cub. It will take a lot of work and refinement before it's an actual marketable product (if ever), but if the young engineer came up with this at 21, she may have other good ideas in store for us as she gains experience.
