Metal in the oil filter can make a grown man cry!

Inspecting the filter is as important as the differential compression check. A low cylinder usually can be fixed but metal in the filter …….not good….So it is important to do!….I have to say I always worry a little that something bad can be lurking in the filter. Fortunately this engine is just fine and will be flying again soon!

Don’t for get to remove this or it will cause havoc on the saw blade!

Cut slowly and evenly to remove the element intact!
