Magneto Check Failed

Still breaking in the new engine and on yesterdays flight all was well until, after refueling, went to fly back home and during the runup the right magneto check would not drop RPM. When got it back to home airport, did the switch check (as I always do at the end of each flight) and turning the switch off would not kill the engine...need to replace both P-Leads anyway as they may be the originals from 1967...

Question...anyone ever installed toggle switches for the mags versus using the key switch?...would be way cooler looking than the key switch.
