For those who live in colder climates during the winter months and are looking for a quality cowl cover, I’d highly suggest you look at Macs. Family owned business in Michigan. I keep my plane plugged in to an engine heater during the winter but needed something to hold the heat in as I’ve read where condensation can develop in the engine if the ambient temperature is cold. I looked at several companies but decided to go with Mac’s based on reviews and price.

The cover is super high quality, about an inch of insulation with multiple straps to completely wrap the cowl. I also got the cowl plugs which fit perfectly. The cover and cowl plugs was $342 shipped. If you’ve priced another popular cover company, you’ll know this is a great price!
