I am looking for 2 nav/comms to replace my KX175B radios. I have used the Mac1700 before and prefer that model but a couple of TKM MX 170Bs would work as well.

Have a MAC-1700 I just took out of my Warrior. Only issue is after about 25-30 min the nav function seems to become intermittent. Comm works great though. Let me know if you're interested.

Had a KX-170 and a KX-175 in my aircraft, but was used to (and liked) the function of the KX-155's that were in my Skyhawk. Pulled one of my radios out and replaced it with a MX-170. I have been extremely happy with it since. As far as installation goes, all you have to do is slide the KX-170/175 out and slide the MX-170 in. Their customer service is good as well.

I have to agree the TKM MX-170b in my plane has been really good. I think that would be a better choice than the MAC
