Hello all,
I did a long range flight yesterday. Following the advice learned here, I did a long range setting. I had not dared to fly that long in the F turbo, but handled it very well. My setting; 22 / 2100 Rpm. I flew for 5 hrs 45 min @ 9500 ft and when I cut power to begin the descent, the computer showed 2 hours flight time remaining. Landed with 40 gallons aprox. TAS was not the quickest, 148-155 as the plane burned fuel. EGT´s were in the 1450 -1550´s and CHT around 385, TIT 1530. Happy with the results.
The Aztec cabin is very comfortable for long range cruising.
