I bought my PA28R-200 in February of this year. It have an engine monitor with EGT and CHT for each cylinder. The previous owner, a CFII, gave me my complex checkout. He taught me to lean to 1350 EGT. High CHTs are never a problem, even in the summer. In the winter they don’t even reach 300. Can some of you all share your leaning techniques and temps for cruising on long trips? Maybe in the 5000-9000’ range?
