Does anyone have experience with installing the main gear fairings "spats" on a Lance? Do they work? How much gain? Specifically I have a 77 Lance with no mods.

I did a search on this topic and I didn't find many threads discussing this specific mod.

I know that the first mod gets the most bang for the buck then it gets exponentially expensive to chase a knot or two. So my goal is to do about 2 or 3 of the best mods (specific to the Lance, based on actual owners' experience) and then call it done.
