Just looking for opinions from Lance/Saratoga owners on grass field landings. Also shortest field anyone has safely operated out of?
Need to fly to a 2700 ft. grass field to do some work, but not certain I should fly the Lance in. I learned to fly at this field, so I'm comfortable there. Just haven't landed something like the Lance there. It's a low tail, normally aspirated. The field has obstacles, but not like a wall of trees around it. It's also relatively smooth and wide, as far as grass fields go.
