Laminar Flow Flap Hinge Fairings

Yet another "pre-buy" question. The plane I'm looking at has a number of Knots2U and Laminar Flow mods, including the Laminar Flow flap hinge fairings. I'm not all that wild about them because they are riveted on, and, as a result, it is impossible to inspect the flap hinges during preflight. How can I know if the linkage is loose or if it is becoming corroded without removing the fairings?
