I have an opportunity of getting an 89b, box, antenna, etc. Thought about using it to replace an old 40 year old brick of a radio that I have. Anyone used one? I will probably have less then $1200 in it after install. It is IFR certified. I know it is not WAAS, but not my concern right now. I am still going to wait on the WAAS/ADSB stuff for a while. Things are changing. I am VFR only and don't see that changing anytime soon. I also have a Century single axis a/p.

Worth putting in for a while?
