My cherokee survived Irene with no damage. Myself and the two airplanes around me all made triangle shaped spoilers and tied them to the wings. Only damages noticed at our airfield were some torn canopy covers. We had gusts into the 60 kt region. Happy that is over... That and having power back on is nice too.
