Could one of you knowledgeable people please explain some results for me.
Engine Crank case
Liquid penetrant inspection of the crankcase revealed fretting at the #3 main upper bearing saddle..will be sent out for possible repair.
OK some damage? does that mean a spun bearing? or What?
Crankshaft all favorable
Cam and internal gearing favorable
exhaust stud replace on one cylinder? normal?
2 Piston pin plugs due to wear? how does that happen?
cylinders normal wear signatures
A little help guys as we are talking money$$
