Ive been dreaming about updating interior since we now have an updated panel. It’s an 82 SP, so it has the cloth curtains. Like to trash those and go to tinted glass. Here’s the problem. It appears that the plastic trim has a lip that turns towards the glass but doesn’t go all the way to it, it allows a space for the curtains. Is there a way to get the trim lip wider, about 1/2”?
The old trim is all cracked and would like to fix it with the interior coming in later. But I don’t want to spend $500 for new window trim that leaves a huge gap once I get curtains removed.
