Bucket list item. Friend of mine + his birthday + a passing mention of it a couple months ago = it's 5 days away now!
I'm stoked about it. Never done it before. Planning to jump from 14,000 feet at Skydive Deland in Florida. It'll be tandem, of course. I'm 208lbs, but the limit is 220lbs. Should be OK. Maybe they'll find some petite hot chick to strap to my back. Probably not though.
From what I know, it's a psychological hurdle more than a real one. Climbing up there, jumping out the door into the vast expanse, when ALL LOGIC says don't do it!
I'm gonna do it though. I'll report back when I'm done, if I live.
