This is interesting—what happens if you're IFR in IMC, have a comms failure, procede along your cleared route (as you're supposed to), have to go missed at destination, and find that the missed-approach procedure requires vectors? (Improvise, obviously.)

According to this November circular, Nav Canada is planning to plug that loophole by including explicit lost-comms instructions when a missed approach includes vectors. They're starting with Thunder Bay, ON:
