Just got my T Lance back in the air after an extended hiatus and have a question about the way it idles. I start it full rich, stabilize at 1000 rpm and then start leaning for ground opps. The airport is at 5840 msl. As I lean I get about a 300 rpm rise and then bring it back to 1000. Is this much rise to be expected or is some adjustment called for? Another fuel/idle related symptom is that if the elec. fuel pump is turned on at 1000 rpm it kind of bogs the engine down & rpm's actually fall a bit. Could the idle mixture be set too rich? Thanks in advance for any advise!
David
