Hydraulic power pack amperage draw

When I operate the hydraulic power pack on my 1969 28R-180, my analog amperage gauge pegs full-scale on the 0-70 amp gauge. Can you take a look and see if you see the same thing when you retract or extend the gear on your Arrow? I'd really appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!
