I am not WiFi and Bluetooth savvy wrt avionics and I have the following questions wrt using Aera 660 and ForeFlight:

My Aera 660 is hardwired in addition I have GDL 50 (weather and traffic). How does Aera 660 receive WiFi? Is it through, the Aera 660 system or through the GDL 50? I know I can Bluetooth the Aera 660 with GDL 50.

I have an iPad mini with ForeFlight in addition I also have a mini Sentry (weather and traffic). How does ForeFlight receive WiFi? Is it through, the iPad and ForeFlight or through the Sentry or GDL 50? I know I can Bluetooth the ForeFlight with GDL 50. Can I Bluetooth Sentry with ForeFlight?

***Do I need my iPhone for either Aera 660 and ForeFlight to receive WiFi?***

Thank you.
