Curious on peoples thoughts about high time airplanes. I own an Arrow IV that is getting close to 10k hours. IMO I have one of the nicest Arrow IVs out there and would put it against any low time arrow out there...... 900 hour engine, new scimitar prop, complete modern Garmin avionics with GFC 500, everything has been gone through e.g. new hoses, brakes, battery you name it. Newer interior. I see allot of planes for sale out there with lower hours at crazy prices that look like junk. So, I am wondering if I have the entire plane repainted what kind of price could I potentially sell my plane for? How much is impacted by high time? Is painting cost recoverable in price?
