All,

I have recently noticed higher than what I think normal oil temps. The last 15 hours flown I average 225-230. Previous post on here people are calling out 190-200 as average. 245 is red line in my plane. My plane came out of annual in June and they made not mention to any admoralities. Here are my notes from today’s flight from KMLE-KCOU-KRDK. Temperatures at 4,000 and 5,000 were 77-80 degrees and on the ground during taxing and departure around 90-93degrees. Any idea what could be causing this? I’ve seen some threads blaming oil cooler and/or cowl baffling, should I start there?
