Curious as to what everyone's preferences are for flying high altitude. How high will you fly? Obviously each aircraft has it's limitations, but what about your own limitations?

Going on a long trip, winds aren't too different at each altitude option, terrain a non-issue, how high up do you fly?

I have owned a Cherokee PA-28-180 for around 6 months and the highest I've taken her up is 7,000, even though the service ceiling is over double that.

Would love to hear your preferences, experiences, and opinions!
