Hello, everyone! I am finally pursuing a life long dream of becoming licensed pilot. I have flown on and off since I was a child but never thought I'd see the day of getting my PPL and much less an airplane! I will begin training for my PPL this fall. I will be living in Brooklyn but will train on Long Island or in the Newark, NJ area. I plan to purchase a Piper Cherokee to complete my private through commercial ratings in. I am fortunate to be a member of EAA 98 and have received many suggestions and guidance from other members who are pilots and airplane owners. My hope here is to gain knowledge of ownership cost for a Cherokee and hopefully even make a friend or two along the way. Thank you all in advance for any help and advice you will provide! If you happen to be close to Gainesville, Florida I'd love the chance to take a look at your airplane sometime and hear about your favorite memory!
