Happy to be in a place with so much information. I am a rusty, 100 hours private pilot located in northwest Minnesota. I am in the process of searching-to-buy my first aircraft, given my 250 lbs frame 
I am thinking of buying a Piper Cherokee 180, that may change as I read more information here.
I am very happy about the idea of purchasing an airplaine since there is no place nearby to rent, but I am also nervous as well given all the investment into an unknown. In any case, I will take my time in this forum and read as much as possible, I know I am in the right place to find answers.
