My engine is out getting overhauled. In the meantime, I'm doing stuff like media blast stripping the aluminum engine baffling. I need to replace the silicon fabric, but wow that stuff is expensive on aircraft spruce. Mine will require at least one foot length of the 1/8" x 36". https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/appages/siliconecowlseals5.php
That stuff is 60 bucks! Any idea where to get it significantly cheaper? It also appears to be smooth. I would like textured to replace what is already there.
