My Archer ll has the split glareshield, closest to panel is cushion vinyl wrapped in good condition and the ugly cracking material that is closer to the windscreen. I am looking to replace the cracking portion closest to the windscreen which could be a challenge but hopefully doable without pulling the plexiglass. What type of material are others using? Perhaps an automobile type thin pile carpet? Would rather save the $400+ that a new one piece glareshield costs if I don't have to.
