I have a 1972 Arrow which I Love. However, in spite of a new paint job, cleaned up interior, and upgraded avionics, time has done it's thing. This arrow is in a flight club and now has around 6900 flight hours on it. After looking at the various options for another avionics upgrade, I haven't really found a cost effective alternative. When I called Piper they said that they are not building Arrows right now and would need an order for 15 or so to make it worthwhile. What I am wondering is whether there is enough interest in the Piper community to justify trying to get 15 buyers together to persuade Piper to make some new ones. I believe that if they were to add the speed mods that are available and possibly upgrade to the Lycoming IO-390 motor, they could offer C(*&((s a real competitor. What do you all think?
