1977 Piper Lance with Lo Presti Howl Cowl conversion.
I know there's a lot of talk about landing gear here. I hope someone has had this problem too. Two weeks ago I had a landing gear problem. Lowered the lever to gear down no three green. After using emergency extension procedure got all three green. However the nose gear took a minute or two to turn green. Flew home with gear down no problem. Shop determined it was a power pack so we replaced it. Have now flown it for 30 more hours with 16 cycles. Yesterday on approach to TLH same problem happens again. No green light and tower said it looked like the main were partially down and no nose wheel. Again after emergency extension and a little fishtailing I got the mains down. The nose came down last and right after I heard and felt a little thud. Any thoughts?
