In my boredom, I have been fantasizing about avionics upgrades and am trying to better understand the GI-275.
One of the solutions that I am exploring is a GTN650 with a GI-275 for the CDI. Can the GI-275 that is used as a CDI change into the MFD or traffic display also or is it locked as a CDI? I can't tell from Garmin's website if these are separate boxes or one box that contains all of these functions.
