Hello
I’m looking to replace my current autopilot in a Piper Lance. Right now I’m looking to install the GFC 500, dual G5’s and a GTN 650. I have received three quotes but all vary substantially which is concerning. I expected them all to be close. I’m wondering if anyone else has installed similar components and wouldn’t mind sharing rough costs. I understand all aircraft are different and one may require more work than the other but I’m stuck selecting a vendor since they are so far apart.
Also, if anyone knows of a good installer in the Michigan, Ohio or Southern States, I’m open to getting more quotes to close the gap.
