Please read below and let’s have a discussion. Would love to hear many different opinions..........

My Aztec has a single 530W GPS, a 345 transponder with ADSB in/out and a flight stream 210 to make them talk to the iPad for weather, traffic, geo-referenced charts, etc.

I also have a couple ancient radios that need to go (e.g. KNS 80).

My hull value is not high enough to justify the cost of a dual Garmin upgrade. Therefore my options as I see them are:

1. Install a 430W as the #2 GPS ($6,900)
2. Install a second 530W (I believe I have the space for it; $8,200)
3. Install a used 650 ($9,200)
4. Install a new 650Xi ($10,600)

My avionics guy tells me to plan on 40 hours at $85/hr for installation so add $3,400.

one question I have is, do the new products 650/650Xi have the same ability to transfer flight plans, etc.to/from the 530W like the 430W would by way of the flight stream 210?
