Scheduled for a Garmin 345 ADS-B and Garmin encoder install. I asked for all the old equipment / wiring to be removed...I was told the OLD ENCODER ( used with the current Narco AT-50 ) would have to stay as it provides ALT info to the Garmin 430W.... so old my OLD encoder was able to provide info mode c and alt info to my transponder and 430W ---but the NEW Garmin encoder will not ??
So I am relying on a 30 yer old encoder after upgrading to a new transponder and encoder ?
