Ok, where's the catch?

I have had my eye on the 155 for some time now. I like it because it doesn't have all the features that I don't want to pay for. ie. moving map, comm, coffee maker etc...

I'm aware that Garmin no longer supports this unit. but in what capacity? Can I still get nav updates? data base? my guess is no data base.

As far as parts and accessories, what additional units will I need to purchase?
--The 155 unit that is for sale comes with a MSI nav source selector.
--I have a kT76A transponder. Will I need to install the diodes to interface to the GPS?
--I know I'll need an external antenna such as the GA-56.
--Indicator? I have a KI204 indicator and a Narco ID824 indicator. Neither of these units advertize that they can be used with GPS, but a quick search found a c-210 with the 155 installed and indicating on a ID824. How did they do that?

What else?
Thanks
