I am pleased to announce that GAMI (General Aviation Modifications, Inc.) Ada, OK has acquired the Osborne Tip Tanks STCs for Piper Comanches and Twin Comanches. We have moved the manufacturing of the tip tanks from California to Ada, OK and are setting up production. We look forward to supporting the Comanche owners with this long- favored product line!

We currently have a limited number of stamped “shells” for Piper Comanches that are being made into tip tank sets that will be available on a first come, first served basis. Some have already been spoken for and future orders will only be considered when we have a sufficient number of orders and deposits in hand to justify a new production run.

If you are interested in expanding the range of your Comanche, increasing the weather avoidance capability, having the required IFR reserves for a specific mission, providing for purchase of cheaper fuel when available, the additional 30 gallons fuel capacity and increased gross weight of our “Osborne by GAMI” tip tanks can provide all that.

Further, the best speed mod available is not having to stop for fuel!

Interested customers can contact John-Paul Townsend at GAMI for options and pricing at (888) 359-4262 (888-FLY-GAMI) or by email at [email protected].
