I had my fuel servo overhauled a couple of weeks ago and I recently received my bill. My mechanic doesn't work on these parts, rather he only takes them off the plane and ships the part to a local guy who works on aircraft accessories. Anyways, when I got my bill I was charged $2,300!!! AND, that price does NOT include the time from my mechanic to take it off and put it back on my plane. I think I've been taken, what is the going rate today on those jobs? My plane is a 74 Arrow. I'm hoping people will say this in line with today's market but according to my brief internet search, I have my doubts.
