I’m not sure where to post this, so I figured I’d start here.
Anybody have expierence with bulk purchases of 100LL?
A few of us at my home airport are considering the purchase of fuel for our own use. Our FBO has ridiculous pricing, currently $6.29, whereas I can take the short 6 mile flight and get it for $4.57. I save nearly $2000 a year making the other airport a stop on my way home.
We have started to look into co-mingling fuel with the County, as they own the bulk storage tanks, or even purchasing our own fuel truck. We are looking for advice from someone who has a similar situation and has been successful in solving this issue.
