$250 (includes USPS to U.S. lower 48; $275 to AK & HI)
Description:
- PIPER P/N: 69670-00 (Chrysler 2642997)
- S/N: 17224
- 61 hours time in service since overhaul (May 18, 2017)
- 0 hours time in service since repair, test, and maintenance release
- Dated O/H receipt & Yellow Tag included.
- Mounting hardware not included; reuse the hardware in your aircraft.
Removed from my 1972 PA-28-180G, S/N: 28-7205259
This alternator is in excellent condition.
Earlier this year, at 61 hours time in service since overhaul, the internal field wire connection broke loose from excessive vibration that resulted from a broken alternator bracket bolt. At that point, I was about 1/2 way into a long X/C (1,500nm), and a warranty repair would have taken too much time. Consequently, I opted for a new alternator to expedite my airplane’s return to service. The overhauler opted to repair this alternator under warranty.
Sold AS-IS, NO warranty.
