The ink hasn't even dried on my IFR ticket and I decided to load up my wife and 2 year old boy for a trip. Celing was at 5,500 and forcast to get better. I filed IFR for 3,000 and headed out. Half way through the trip the celing dropped to below 3,000 and about 10 minutes into the clouds I looked out at the wings and saw some white stuff on the leading edge. Needless to say I turned around.
