Hello,
I recently purchased a 1972 Piper Cherokee Challenger (PA-28-180) and the airplane does not have a fire extinguisher.
There are a lot of options - Halon vs. Halotron (Sportys etc) and I wanted to check with the collective wisdom here to see which is best :)
Is it also OK for me to put one in myself or will it need an A&P to assist/sign-off? Also, the seats in this airplane are not original so I will probably have to get a mounting kit as well.
Additionally, the trim wheel is located between the two front seats so that area is no longer an option.
Thanks for all the advice :)
