Hi everyone !

I am currently rebuild the panel of my Piper Seneca 1 with full garmin stuffs (G5, gma345, etc.).
My technician told me that I can’t install my new GARMIN AERA 760 on my panel because the power consumption exceed 20 Watt ?

Please tell me where can I find the power consumption of the AERA?

(EASA Standard Change CS-SC102a INSTALLATION OF DC POWER SUPPLY SYSTEMS (PSS) FOR PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICES (PED)
https://www.easa.europa.eu/en/downloads/95077/en ).

It’s a French aircraft (not N-registration)… Is it the same in US ? I never eard something like that. Beyond this power issue, it tells me that anyway, it's forbidden to mount the AERA on the panel? Indeed, in the manual of the area, I do not see any indication to do so (https://static.garmin.com/pumac/190-02674-00_d.pdf) .

I really don’t understand… It will be pitty if I can’t panel mounted it.
Thank you very much.
