1965 Cherokee 235, O540B4B5.

At annual, mechanic noted slightly low (but not out of spec) compression on cylinder #3. We popped for a borescope to look at the exhaust valve, and here’s what we saw.

I know this won’t get better on its own, and is likely the start of a downhill slide. That said, I’m seeking opinions from -knowledgeable- people (not “I once read an article” - that’s -my- level of knowledge). The valve doesn’t look totally fried what I’ve read, but how much of a “gotta go” does this indicate?

No engine monitor (yet - one is purchased and ready, but that install is for another day) so no CHT / EGT data to interpret.
