Was looking at older GPSes and Im trying to figure out the old Apollo units.
The plane I may use for my IFR checkride has a Apollo GX50 installed in it, its IFR non precision approach certified. I've seen the GX55 which is IFR enroute certified.
Does this mean that one can only use the GX50 for approaches and not enroute? What's the difference?
