I see a lot of ads (lower priced) Cherokees that don't list the hp. It will say Cherokee 140. I e-mailed about one and it was 150hp. Are there any Cherokee 140's with 140hp?

What prop pitch does a 140hp have? A 150hp? A 160hp? and a 180hp? I understand hp doesn't get you a significant speed gain but hp does give much better load carrying ability. Why is that? The only props I've seen are 58" and 60". I suspect more hp will turn a 60" prop to a higher static rpm giving more thrust for takeoff with a load???
