My electric trim only works on the ground but not in flight. Mechanic says electric motor responds too quickly to trim switch and suggested to overhaul it. I'm not convinced since it magically stopped working after last year's annual. Is there such a thing as motor responding too quickly and let's say.. failing to grip the wires under aerodynamic forces?
