Oregon87:

I know Aircraft Spruce has them, but I was trying to save a buck or two.

Are you with EI?

Hello @oregon87

I’m in the process of deciding between EI or JPI. I seem to receive consistent feedback that EI probes are of questionable quality and regular replacement of probes is a given.

I would value your input.

Kind Regards

I've had an EI in for a few years now. The probes have been fine, I did have the manifold pressure sensor fail and need replacement, but that was easy.

If you are concerned about longevity, I recommend considering ordering our P-110-R (robust) EGT probe instead of the P-110-F (fast response). The P-110-R EGT probes are larger in diameter and typically last longer due to the thicker material.
