Do I really need “aviation” door seals?

Hi all, I’m new to the forum and to airplane ownership. I have a 1978 Lance that I bought new door seals for from Aircraft Door Seals. I want to replace the forward baggage door one and am wondering if I need an “aviation” brand door seal or if I could just use an automotive one. If anyone can provide any considerations or insight as to the differences I’d appreciate it. Thanks in advance for your help.
