So i've got some carpet ordered, instead of going the precut route, i'm working with an upholstery shop here in town, they got FAA burn certified materials and I'm going to pull the old panels and let them build it I'll be doing the install work. Im sure I'll use some "new words" and swear to never do it again (My usual conclusion to my projects), anything to watch out for? what material should I get for the panel backing? I was just going to slop glue down on the floor to install the carpet, is there a better way? I think my current side panel backing was at one time cardboard or particle board of some sort. It's now quality potting soil.
